Saffron Screen is an independent community cinema based at  Saffron Walden County High School. Its professional auditorium boasts a full size screen, 200 cinema seats, Dolby Digital surround sound and both 35mm and digital projection equipment. It shows everything from mainstream films for adults and children to documentaries, foreign language and art house films. Look out for its LIVE Arts on Screen events broadcast live from theatres, galleries and concert venues around the world.

The cinema regularly hosts Q&As, craft activities for children and hosted discussions too!

Ticket and refreshment prices are kept low to benefit all and parking is free. The bar is open every Friday and Saturday night and for Arts on Screen events.  Family tickets are just £20.50 for a family of four (two adults and two children or one adult and three children).
